Obstacles and Opportunities

Runecasters is not your typical roll-and-move game -- it is a move-then-roll game. The board is made up of dice which are rolled when a wizard leaves them behind. As players make their way around the board, casting the dice as they go, the board transforms into a landscape of obstacles and opportunities.

Depth and Strategy

The game board features runic dice with 6 distinct faces. When a wizard lands on a face marked with a symbol, a unique property is applied to the wizard. This system allows players to carefully plan their movements with the dice around them in mind, rewarding foresight and adaptation. The result is a game that supports strategic planning, and is endlessly replayable.

Choose Your Spellcaster

The Druid is a leader and a communicator. While many wizards rely solely on their own ability, the Druid invests his power in familiars, calling upon them to form an unstoppable team.

The Elemancer is capable of bending and combining the four elements to her will. Her magic is creative and direct, allowing her to overpower the competition.

The Channeler unleashes the power of the spirit realm by conjuring ghosts and possessing creatures. They defy death by returning and empowering magic lost to the nether.

The Shapeshifter can adapt to any environment, changing her form to become sturdy, nimble, or fierce. She is most dangerous at close proximity, and will strike at anyone in her way.
